BAYC is one of the most popular PFPs so, because of the sheer amount of trading volume, we stand by our valuations with incredible confidence.
Bored Apes are PFPs which means their utility is mostly “flex” value.
As a flex item, there are certain cool looking and/or rare desired traits that make the PFP more valuable than the floor price.
There is a general consensus about the tier list, meaning the order of the desired traits from most to least desired is not projected to change much at all.
As the floor price moves up or down, the traits in their exact order will move in value with the floor, but never out of position.
Note: The traits “Bored Unshaven Pizza” and “Bored Unshaven Dagger” have a higher rarity than their counterparts “Bored Pizza” and “Bored Dagger”.
The pizza and dagger looks exactly the same, but there is a smaller number with the unshaven face.
Because of this, the unshaven versions could sell for a higher price to the right buyer.
But since LiquidNFTs only supports the immediate liquid value (and because finding the right buyer may take too long), we value the pizza and dagger traits by their lowest liquid value of any pizza or dagger.
